WELCOME TO TERM 3 to everyone from the Eastern Suburbs! Where did Term 2 go?? Term 2 was amazing and all our classes did so well in their Parent Presentation Days. We even had parents joining in with an Introductory Activity as part of the presentation! Now we know where all our students get their enthusiasm from, the parents did such a wonderful job at their very first drama activity, congratulations! Here are a few photos of how much fun we had last term:

We have also had a wonderful start to Term 3 with lots of new families joining us and to all our existing students a BIG THANK YOU for making all our new students feel part of our class so quickly, I am so proud of you all. :)

We have really enjoyed our Improvisations this term and have already been to the Zoo with the Lower Primary classes! Upper Primary students have been working on prop skills and mini-scripts, which will give us solid grounding towards our Term 4 Productions which we look forward to performing for you at the end of the year.

Happy New Drama Year 2014!

A big HELLO to everyone for 2014! Welcome to all our new families who have joined the Academy for the first time this year and to all our students who have joined us again from 2013 it is WONDERFUL to have you all back in class! Classes have begun again and we are back into the swing of having fun and learning lots at the same time. My family  had the most wonderful holiday break and I thought I’d include a photo of myself and my son (who is also part of our wonderful Kindy Drama Programme) on our holiday. After he had his face painted he didn’t want to wash it off! So we had Spiderman saving us for the next day or so! I also did a Face Painting workshop during the holiday break and once I get some materials, I am hoping I can use my new found skills during class to paint on some simple designs before we do some of our Improvisations :)

I look forward to the year ahead and all it has to offer with all of our existing students as well as meeting lots of new students who will also benefit from our amazing programme. Happy New Year everyone!

Kindest regards, Merylena Sulak Principal Eastern Suburbs

They had a chance to guess what their Term 4 play was going to be about and were given lots of clues!Did they choose the right  costumes to suit the play this term? They will find out on Friday!  Have a fantastic Term 4 everyone!
