WELCOME TO TERM 3 to everyone from the Eastern Suburbs! Where did Term 2 go?? Term 2 was amazing and all our classes did so well in their Parent Presentation Days. We even had parents joining in with an Introductory Activity as part of the presentation! Now we know where all our students get their enthusiasm from, the parents did such a wonderful job at their very first drama activity, congratulations! Here are a few photos of how much fun we had last term:

We have also had a wonderful start to Term 3 with lots of new families joining us and to all our existing students a BIG THANK YOU for making all our new students feel part of our class so quickly, I am so proud of you all. 🙂

We have really enjoyed our Improvisations this term and have already been to the Zoo with the Lower Primary classes! Upper Primary students have been working on prop skills and mini-scripts, which will give us solid grounding towards our Term 4 Productions which we look forward to performing for you at the end of the year.

Term 4 has arrived and the excitement is building for our End of Year Productions! Here are some of our Kalamunda Youth Theatre students on the last day of Term 3 dressed up and ready for action! They had a chance to guess what their Term 4 play was going to be about and were given lots of clues!Did they choose the right  costumes to suit the play this term? They will find out on Friday!  Have a fantastic Term 4 everyone!

The Right Mix!

During a recent conversation with one of our Kallaroo mums we discussed our End of Year Presentations.

Her daughters have been attending our classes for almost 2 years and last year was their first experience with our performances.

“Our girls have done the dancing thing and we really found it to be overwhelming… your performances have the right mix of performance skills within a relaxed and caring environment. You have got it right.”

Thanks!

See you all in class soon!

It is hard to believe that we are close to the End of Term 3 already!

As this term draws to a close, the anticipation and excitement builds as we look forward to Term 4 and our End of Year Presentations.

It is very important that you return your Yellow Re-Enrolment Form for a couple of reasons:

1. It ensures your place in class for next term.

2. If all students return their form, our teachers and Principal will wear their pyjamas to class!

Thank you and I will see you all in class soon!
