WELCOME TO TERM 3 to everyone from the Eastern Suburbs! Where did Term 2 go?? Term 2 was amazing and all our classes did so well in their Parent Presentation Days. We even had parents joining in with an Introductory Activity as part of the presentation! Now we know where all our students get their enthusiasm from, the parents did such a wonderful job at their very first drama activity, congratulations! Here are a few photos of how much fun we had last term:

We have also had a wonderful start to Term 3 with lots of new families joining us and to all our existing students a BIG THANK YOU for making all our new students feel part of our class so quickly, I am so proud of you all. 🙂

We have really enjoyed our Improvisations this term and have already been to the Zoo with the Lower Primary classes! Upper Primary students have been working on prop skills and mini-scripts, which will give us solid grounding towards our Term 4 Productions which we look forward to performing for you at the end of the year.

Here is Forrestfield Lower looking the part in their zoo animal costumes:

Stay tuned for more pictures of how much fun we are having in Term 3!

Every second week this term we are having a “themed” lesson where the students are able to dress up for their Drama Class. (See our previous posts for the list if you are unsure.)

I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to our carers, parents and students who always amaze me with their creativity and attention to detail with dress-ups.

Here we have some students from our Quinns Lower Primary class and our Greenwood Kindy class, looking great in their ‘dress-ups’.

Presentation Day Costume Reminder

As our Term 2 Presentation Days draw closer, just a quick reminder about what the students should be wearing…

Lower Primary classes will be presenting an Improvisation set in a bakery.  Teachers will let children know if they need to dress as a baker (hats, aprons, etc), or a Cookie person (bright colours, spots, stripes, wigs etc).

Upper Primary classes will be presenting an Improvisation set in an Hawaiian Hotel.  Children to wear Hawaiian style clothing (If you cannot find anything, please let us know as we have plenty of leis and grass skirts that can be borrowed!)

If you have any queries please speak to the class teacher or contact your Principal.

See you all in class soon!

Clowning Around

Students in our Lower Primary Classes this week are channelling their creative energy and taking a trip to the circus. Here Daisy and Madie from our Kallaroo Studio are caught clowning around. What great fun we are all having!

See you in class soon!
