Unexpected bouquets

It is always good to get feedback, especially from places you don’t expect it.

I was talking to Kay, a member of the P&C at one of the High schools that have distributed my Helen O’Grady fliers. It began as a request for a voucher to support their Annual Art Auction, which I agreed to. She then told me about her daughter who, having a keen interest in acting when she was young, attended the Academy.

Kay then relayed with pride, that her daughter was now successfully studying at WAAPA (West Australian Academy of Performing Arts). It was so nice to hear her say that even though she was a talented little girl, it was the Helen O’Grady Drama Academy that taught her daughter the basics of acting, encouraged that confidence, channelled her talents and energy into drama and kept her dream alive.

Kay, I wish your daughter a successful acting career and thank you for confirming that the Academy makes a difference to so many children, past and present.
